We had a wonderful experience here. The unit is lovely and beautiful and it’s in the perfect location: a short walk from the calm bay, and in the middle of two restaurants and 2 pools. The grounds are great with lots of grass for the kids to run around and it’s right on the water so we witnessed beautiful sunsets each evening. Napili Bay is our favorite beach. The snorkeling is great and it’s calm for the whole family. This is our second stay here and we love it. We much prefer it to Lahaina or Kaanapali, which are super touristy. There’s a lot to do but it still feels relaxing.

Last year we stayed in Evelyn’s Studio and this year we decided to spread out more. The unit was very clean and comfortable, has everything you need in the unit besides food and personal items and is on the best beach in Maui! Order food to go from the Gazebo Restaurant and eat on your lanai. To the left of the resort is Honu Bay (in front of Napili Point), a sea turtle sanctuary. To the right is Napili Bay, and my favorite beach spot is to the far right in front of the Seahouse Restaurant. Great lunch place with a view. I used to live in Maui and Napili Shores and Evelyn’s units are the best for location, cleanliness, amenities and budget. No brainer. Aloha!

The unit was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was in a great location, on the second floor near the lower pool. It was a perfect place to enjoy a week in Maui!

Condo had basics - nothing fancy but what we needed. It was super close to the beach and Gazebo, which was great. No A/C (most do not have it) but it was very hot and stuffy, especially the first few days, even with ceiling and floor fans. It was a good price for the island and area and the owner was responsive.

Stayed in this condo before, and will hopefully again. Clean, nicely appointed, and adequate kitchen.lots of beach chairs and boogie boards. Easy rental with owner very responsive. Great family place! Aloha!

We loved our stay at Napili Shores. The location is wonderful. The Gazebo was great, and so convenient. Go early, expect to wait in line. They do have a coffee station outside so you can have a hot cup of coffee while you wait. Laundry facility was very handy!

We rented a 1 bedroom condo and it was perfect. Great location to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, driving distance to local attractions - boogie boarding and hiking the coastal trail. Families, old and young, blended well here - enough for all to do and enjoy. The condo was well equipped with all the amenities, clean, quiet and lovely. Evelyn, the owner, has put together a nice place to escape and enjoy Maui.

we had a wonderful two week stay in this lovely unit. we have been to maui 7 times have stayed in this unit 2 times and this unit and resort is great place to enjoy the sun, beach, pool. the view from the lanai is absolutely fabulous and so relaxing to just sit there and watch the waves roll in.

We have stayed twice at F249 in Napili Shores and are already planning our next trip. We love the beach, the pools, the turtles and whales. The location is excellent and we felt completely at home in F249. Evelyn is great to deal with the condo and property are well-maintained. Can't wait to come back!

This condo was exactly as it was shown in the photos and could not have been more perfect for my husband and me during our recent 6 night stay. We had initially planned to stay at Napili Kai, but instead decided to try this place and we could not have been happier about our decision. The condo was stocked with everything we could have needed for cooking, sleeping and enjoying the area--including a well-outfitted kitchen, beach chairs, bath and beach towels, boogie boards, fast wi-fi, smart tv with cable and netflix and more. We enjoyed our breakfast on the lanai every morning, then took our coffee down to the chairs by the Gazebo to watch the waves roll in and plan the day ahead. It stayed in the 70s the entire time we were there and with its concrete construction, the breeze and louvered windows, the condo stayed nice and cool for the duration of our trip. We didn't find noise to be much of an issue- yes you can hear people in the parking lot behind the bedroom occasionally in the morning, or out on the first story lanais during the day, but people in the development are very respectful and keep noise to a minimum. Napili Shores (where the condo is located) is a beautiful little development- there is now a restaurant on the grounds that is open for dinner with good, reasonably priced food and very friendly owners and staff. The Gazebo was great for breakfast--if you go right before opening, you should be able to get a seat fairly quickly. You can also walk the beach over to the Sea House (5 minute walk) for a meal or sunset cocktail or go through the Napili Kai and walk up to Merrimans (big price difference between the two though) for a little variety. We made use of the impeccably clean barbecues to grill dinner, they are a nice amenity. Napili Bay itself was an absolute delight and after visiting other beaches, towns and developments on Maui, I'd return to stay there again (and at this condo specifically) in a heartbeat. The south part of the bay is a bit rocky so during nice ocean conditions has tide pools for exploring, a bit further north the wave action is perfect for boogie boarding, and then even further north (closest to Napili Kai) the water stays calm (even in pretty rough conditions) for swimming. It's also good for snorkeling. The developments around Napili Bay are all 2 stories, so it isn't dwarfed by high rise condos or crowded--it really is a perfect little place. Thank you Evelyn!

Spectacular views, awesome beach, lovely grounds, fun swimming pools and hot tub. We love Napili Shores!

Great place for 2 or a family of 4 with smaller kids. A bit tight for a family with 2 teens girls, but I knew it might be going in! The unit is clean and nicely decorated. It gets quite warm but there are fans and a nice breeze coming thru daily. We loved our stay and Napili is the place to be! Lower key and away from touristy spots, which is great. The property is really well cared for.

We stayed for 8 nights and had a great time. We found the owner extremely responsive during our stay. The owner emailed on the first day of our stay to check in with us and when I had a few suggestions she encouraged us to purchase the few items we suggested and reimbursed us on the same day. The condo has been updated in the last few years and has brand new tile floors throughout. We enjoyed all the extra details such as rice cooker, hot water pot and blender as well as the rest of the fully stocked kitchen. We love the location on Napili Bay where we saw many turtles, colorful fish and even a reef shark while snorkling. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation experience! We hope to be back.

We had an amazing time. The condo is very clean and well stocked. The close proximity to the beach allowed us to hop between the beach, pool and condo with no problems and it was close enough for the kids to walk without complaining. The BBQ area was great for dinner, we used it almost every night. We travelled with 20 family members and this unit was updated compared to the others. The bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning but since this unit is on the 2nd floor, at night we left the lanai doors open and the breeze was perfect to cool the unit down. We ended up buying boogie boards when we were there as we didn't see any in the condo. But on the last day while doing our final clean up check I found a bunch of boogie boards under the bed, so beside to check there before buying some. We would definitely stay here again!

Celebrated my birthday with my wife for a 12 day stay. A wonderfully relaxing vacation, with Napili Bay a short walk across the grounds and Kapalua Bay a 5 minute drive. Great snorkeling, sunning, and just plain hanging out. The condo is perfect for a couple. We ate our breakfast every morning on the veranda overlooking the grounds with a view of the ocean in the background. Very nice!

The unit lives up to the pictures. there is nothing more relaxing than getting up in the morning and sitting on the lanai enjoying breakfast. we have been to napili shores resort 5 times we like that its not a high-rise. and that its so relaxing. we highly recommend this unit.

My husband and I loved our recent visit to Napili Shores, and especially our stay in this beautifully updated condo. The remodel is lovely! We like the simplicity of decor - very tasteful. Other great take-aways: Very clean; extremely comfortable bed; fabulous shower head and water pressure; nicely appointed kitchen; great flat-screen TV; and even a Brita water pitcher in the fridge which helps save the amount of plastics headed to landfills! The portable fan in the bedroom helped keep the air moving, but also cut down on any noise coming from outside in the evening. The location is ideal for us, and sunrise walks along the coastal trail get our days started on the right note. The Gazebo on the Napili Shores property is a delightful stop for the occasional breakfast or lunch out. We've been coming to West Maui for 25 years, and this particular condo unit is our favorite in the entire complex. Working with the owner is a dream - she's very responsive and helpful. Can't wait to return next year!

A beautifully decorated condo, but missing some necessities. Such as hand soap, toilet paper, facial tissue, salt and pepper, etc. Otherwise, it's in a great location and close to everything we needed; beach, grocery store, nail salon, boot camp style gym, running trail, amazing shopping in Whaler's Village. Napili Shores is optimal for families with children, we'd highly recommend it!

It's so good to hear that my guests appreciate the upgraded decor and the great location of my condo and of the resort itself. I am so sorry about them not having enough toilet paper, etc. I do give pre arrival instructions that there is only a "starter" supply of toilet tissue. I've asked my housekeepers to leave more and also to leave salt and pepper and non perishable condiments. Perhaps less frills is made up for in the rate. I feel I've priced my condo as a great value!

We frequent Maui regularly and like to explore different properties in the Napili area. This property was appealing given it's location, large grassy area for the kids and proximity to the bay. We had a great stay (owner was very helpful), unit was updated and spacious enough for a family of 4 w/ two small children. With that said, (and this is true of all buildings here except 4) the master bedroom is next to the parking lot. So when families wake up early to drive south for a whale watch, a scuba trip or drive Hana, those car engines, door ajar bells, etc., you get to hear all of that. So, sleeping in is not an option. Also, one other small gripe...our unit ran out of toilet paper on Christmas. Not many places were open and we were surprised to hear the property manager tell us they couldn't give us any more toilet paper because the unit was privately owned. Very strange and very inconvenient. Outside of those two main issues, the owner was very helpful before the booking, the property was well cared for. I would stay at Napili Shores again but opt for something away from the parking areas.

I'm so glad this family enjoyed the great property of the Napili Shores Resort and the amenities and quality of my condo. This Outrigger Resort doesn't provide any stocking of the independent owner's condos but I have asked my housekeepers to leave more toilet paper in the future. As far as the parking lot, all the condos back up to the parking, except the ocean view condos, which are mostly studio condos and almost twice as expensive. In the condos facing the ocean, guests have to walk a ways to the parking lots, not easy in and out access. The coming and going can be an issue, but I don't recall any other complaints in the 4 years I've owned this condo, and most guests are considerate of others. The good part is the easy access to parking, right outside the condo. My hope is that my guests feel they have received a great value for choosing this condo!

Our family loved staying in this condo at Napili Shores! It was right next to the beach and the pool looked out over the ocean! The condo was stocked with snorkel gear, boogie boards, books galore, and basic cooking supplies. What more could a family need? The condo was clean, up to date, and provided enough sleeping space for our entire family. We loved getting to know the other families staying in the complex and enjoyed hearing their stories of returning for annual visits, always staying at Napili Shores! The breakfast at the gazebo was excellent, and a special feature of the island right in our own complex. Thank you for opening your home and for making our visit so comfortable and enjoyable! Condo is very clean and updated. It was well stocked and we had everything we needed. It's nice that the tv had Amazon and Netflix as we had a couple of rainy days/evenings. Would have loved to have a couple of much better beach chairs, but that's the only minor complaint we had.

So glad my guest enjoyed the condo. I'm so sorry the beach chairs were not in the best shape. It's hard to know what the ocean weather has done to the chairs but I will try to ask my guests more often and replace when needed. I've now replaced the beach chairs. I also refund my guests any expenses they incur if something needs replacing or added. My goal is to give my guests a great experience and wonderful memories!

We will definitely stay in this condo again if there are open dates for when we plan to visit. I read the amazing reviews of this condo and saw the pictures and knew it would be perfect for my family of four. From the time I contacted the owner to the moment we checked out, everything was perfect. The owner responded to my email within a few hours notifying me that she had accepted our rental request. She sent detailed information with regard to check-in and let us know to contact her with any questions or concerns. We arrived at Napili Shores to a quiet, beautifully serene condo complex with immaculate grounds. The condo is well furnished with everything we could need including boogie boards, beach towels and snorkel gear. The kitchen is well stocked. We were even given extra towels for the bathroom. We were surprised that there is great flow of air through the condo that kept us cool and comfortable. One of my favorite things about this condo is that it doesn't have a pull out couch in the living room. It has two twin beds that are made into sofas for during the day. This enabled our kids to each have their own comfortable bed in the living room. The master bedroom mattress is also very comfortable which was a big surprise since we are quite picky when it comes to mattresses. We loved how close we are to Napili Bay which is our favorite beach on all of Maui. We simply walked across the lawn out the gate and we were steps from the beach. Each morning we walked along the beach and we spent most of our days in the ocean. At night we came out to the pool closest to the beach and sat in a chair drinking coffees as we watched the sunset. We will definitely stay in this condo again. We loved that the owner is organized and keeps her condo in great condition. We felt everything was perfect about our stay and we were fortunate to find this condo.

We stayed in Evelyn's condo at Napili Shores for our honeymoon in July 2016. It offered everything we needed for our extended stay and I truly feel like the condo was perfectly suited for a honeymoon or couple's vacation. The kitchen was clean and had all of the necessities to make our condo feel like a mini home. The location within the complex is also great. The grounds are beautiful, and the lanai is protected by trees just enough to offer privacy in the condo but still affords a welcoming view for enjoying slow mornings or relaxing evenings. You can see a pool and the grills, but you're not close enough to hear kids playing in the pool or grill-time conversations. While the condo isn't ocean-facing, I found that to be irrelevant when it comes to affordability and access to the beach. For us, we found having a one bedroom rather than a studio in this complex far outweighs an ocean-facing view. Access to the beach is a simple, short, enjoyable stroll through the grounds of Napili Shores. We spent many hours in both Napili and Kapalua Bay and we agreed that our location was key in giving us the opportunity to do all we wanted while in Maui. Evelyn was also excellent with communication and addressed any questions we had in a timely and helpful manner.

My daughter and I only had a couple days here, but we enjoyed every second. We have stayed at Napili Shores before and so far this was our favorite unit. Being upstairs is nice because leaving the sliding door open at night cools off the unit a lot. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen stocked with what we needed, and the tv was great for us because my daughter could watch kids shows on Netflix during our down time. This property is fantastic with the beach so close, the views, two pools, gear rental shop, and the delicious restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Napili Shores resort is clean and has a high standard for maintenance. Evelyn's condo is very nice. The pictures of the interior are accurate. Your view is off the grass courtyard with the main pool and hot tub to your right and other pool and the Gazebo restaurant to your left. Plenty of parking and you are a 5 min. walk to the best beach in Maui. Evelyn is quick to respond and really cares about your experience. The booking is seamless and the app from HomeAway is very useful during your stay. I hope to stay here again,

We just finished our fourth vacation at Napili Shores, and our second in this condo. It is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The owner was very responsive to our needs. The location is fabulous, with a great beach. It was the best two weeks of the year

We had a wonderful time - the condo is perfect. We were traveling with our 2 year old and loved having a full kitchen so we didn't have go out for every meal. The beach is beautiful and so close. The property also has 2 restaurants which was very convenient. The condo had everything we needed and I appreciated the decor. It's modern but still classically Hawaiian - not cheesy like so many other hotels and condos. All in all we had a relaxing and fun trip (even with a toddler!) and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is fantastic, with excellent snorkeling and beaches (Honokeana and Napili) a short walk out the door, and a short drive to others (Kapalua and bays to the north, as well as Airport beach to the south), and the on-site dive shop and nearby Boss Frogs (at Napili Plaza) make it easy to rent snorkeling gear and boards. (The unit has some snorkeling gear but we opted to get fitted at the shop.) Being away from the major resorts gives the location a more local feel, especially if you take a break from swimming and enjoy a local coffee at the excellent coffee shop in nearby Napili Plaza. The grounds and on-site pools are beautiful and a good alternative for those with small children who are scared of the waves on the beaches. The unit itself is well-appointed and well-maintained, and the kitchen in particular was excellent: it had everything we needed to prepare meals and eat in when we chose. All in all, it felt like a true home away from home and we're already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Maui.

This condo was beautiful, everything I was hoping it would be and more! The décor was beautiful and quite comfortable for my husband and I. We love Maui, and this was our second time staying at Napili Shores. This was our first visit to this condo and our experience was amazing from beginning to end. The property itself is beautifully landscaped with easy access to the beach and the Gazebo Restaurant has delicious food, you'll definitely want to get in line early but worth the wait. Its a perfect location for snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. The pool overlooking the ocean is amazing! Whether your are bringing the entire family or just enjoying a couples retreat like I did, it's perfect. I will definitely book this condo again!

Beautiful condo in a great location! Very nicely furnished and extremely comfortable. Beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards in closet available for use. Evelyn was very responsive and always helpful. Property is beautifully landscaped and maintained with easy beach access, lounge chairs at the pool overlooking the ocean, and the ever-popular Gazebo restaurant. I have only been home for 3 days and I am already trying to figure out when I can return. I will most definitely book this property again!

This is our second time staying in this unit and it is by far our favorite. I will only stay in this unit for all future trips. The upgrades that were recently done are beautiful! Evelyn is a dream to work with and very responsive.

This was an absolutely beautiful condo. It had every amenity we needed and then some. My mom loved the decor so much that she took photos for inspiration for her home. Great location on the resort, close to the pool in case you need more ice for your drink but just far enough away that you don't hear the pool noise. Loved the layout of the living room. After a long day on the beach (which we walked to) it was nice to have so much space to lounge around. It was a wonderful experience Evelyn, thank you for putting so much aloha into your beautiful home. I will be telling everyone I know about our great stay.

My wife and I spent 5 days in this Napili Shores property. The location is spectacular and the amenities perfect. The property is right on the water, with great access to snorkeling, swimming, paddle boarding, etc. Napili is about a 15 minute drive north of Lahaina for access to shops and dinning, but far enough away to avoid any excess tourists. This is the perfect location for a relaxing and low-key vacation.

We like the location of the resort for our plans. The complex is well run with two choices for eating and the Sea House nearby which was excellent. The pools were clean and the grounds well kept. Very safe. The unit was clean though very dated. It had a new flat screen TV and good WIFI. It needs a new microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Plenty of towels and kitchen stuff. Because the unit does not have AC, as most units in the complex don't, one needs to leave the windows open. Noise from the parking lot could disturb one's sleep at night. Also there was little breeze from the ocean. A small AC unit for the bedroom would be a big improvement. Parking spots are very tight! For the price we paid it was livable but prices have increased.

This guest is right, and as of Oct 21-Nov 20, 2014, it is going to be completely renovated. I have been offering my condo at a very low rate because of the dated condition and my guests have responded they don't mind since they are getting such a great rate making a Maui vacation affordable. New pictures after the remodel will be posted late Nov.

We had a little mix up at check in , but Evelyn was very accommodating. The condo was well equipped .

I have stayed at various units at Napili Shores starting in 1977 with a vacation with my parents. Stayed here when it was just me and my wife. And since 2002 every other year with my 2 children.. I always liked the quaint feaures of the property. 2 pools hot tub and not have tyo put a towel down in the morning to reserve a spot. One of the best beaches in maui is just a short walk away. Breakfast on the lanai or down at the Gazebo. Close enough to Lahaina but far enough away if you want to avoid congestion. Restaurants and activities all with in walking distance. will return and stay again. Actually prefer this unit's location as it is away from the gazebo restaurant and the morning crowd. Will hopefully be back in 2 years and future visits.

This was our first time staying at Napili Shores and we were so impressed with this place. It was also our first time booking with VRBO. It was so easy. Evelyn was so helpful and a pleasure to work with! We will definitely be back. Everything was clean and beautiful! The beach here was wonderful and access is so close. This condo was clean and fit our needs perfect. It came well stocked with spices, pans, utensils, and toys for the beach. This unit is absolutely the best value for the money.

This was our third stay at Napili Shores, but our first time using Home Away. We have already signed up again for next year! We love the location, beautiful grounds, and low key atmosphere. To be able to roll out of bed to breakfast at the Gazebo, a swim in the pool, playing in the ocean and watching the sunset from the "wall" all makes for an ideal day. Using Home Away was also a money saver. The condo has every convenience that one needs. The owner is planning an update that will turn our 4+ stars to 5.

this condo is all youll need as a base for your maui vacation . it probably has not had any updating done since it was new , but is clean and functional , i wouldnt know how to do it but it could use some updating , tying some new in with the retro condo it already has . the condo has a new owner and she (Evelyn Kelly) was verry nice and ready to quickly help with any and everything we needed the resort grounds , pools , and beach were nice and verry enjoyable when we were around the condo. THE CURRENT PRICE FOR CURRENT ACCOMADATIONS ARE A VERRY GOOD VALE ..

Thanks for your review. Yes, it needs updating but in some ways, the old retro is what Napili Shores is all about. I will be doing some updating in the next year but not the glitzy type that, to me takes away from the 1950's charm and raises the price! Thanks again!

Great condo super location on grounds. Loved the view while having morning coffee. Condo has everything we needed for our stay. New addition to Napili Shores is the Water Sports located next to the main office. We rented all our water equipment right there. The owner super nice to work with very knowledge about what equipment we needed. Evelyn ( new condo owner) was a great pleasure to work with we do plan to rent the same unit again next year This was our 6th time renting at Napili Shores we just keep coming back you can't ask for a better value in Maui This condo has the best of everything so far.
